so there’s this exhibit at the Ft Worth Modern that is nothing but candies in wrappers.. and my husband JOKINGLY says something about eating one of them and this woman runs around the corner ready to tackle someone.

I wish this thing had comments. Anywho, that’s Félix González-Torres and you are supposed to take the candy. They are tasty. I have a couple from the Modern still floating around my apartment.

The most fun with Félix’s work is to take stuff in front of others, especially if they are small kids. My boyfriend and I set off a small stampede when we were at the Albright-Knox in November. (See 41 in the slideshow for the piece.)
